Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 baking power
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (optional)
  • 2 tsp parsley flakes (optional)

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbs cooking oil

Method

  • Mix wet ingredients and add to bowl of dry ingredients
  • Mix to a wet sticky dough
  • Stir soup/stew and make sure there is enough liquid for a 12 min slow boil.
  • Spoon on top of boiling soup/stew in covered pot on the stove top
  • Cook for 12 minutes at a slow boil
  • Serve hot – (makes 6 dumplings)
