Neil’s Dumplings
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 baking power
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (optional)
- 2 tsp parsley flakes (optional)
Wet Ingredients
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbs cooking oil
Method
- Mix wet ingredients and add to bowl of dry ingredients
- Mix to a wet sticky dough
- Stir soup/stew and make sure there is enough liquid for a 12 min slow boil.
- Spoon on top of boiling soup/stew in covered pot on the stove top
- Cook for 12 minutes at a slow boil
- Serve hot – (makes 6 dumplings)
